Godmé Père & Fils was established in 1930. Hugues Godmé is the current winemaker, while his sister Sabine Guillaume handles sales and marketing. The family's property totals 27 acres in Verzenay, with 80 different parcels of grapes harvested and vinified separately.

This vinous bubbly combines freshness and maturity. Toast, mineral, mushroom, citrus and spice aromas and flavors are enticing and complex, and there's nice, airy texture, yet no shortage of intensity and grip. The long aftertaste features toast and mineral. Wine Spectator 93
