Description

Victoria’s first vineyard was planted at Yering Station in 1838 and today the winery remains true to its heritage as a family-owned and operated winery. As one of the country’s best-known cool climate regions, ideal for producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the Yarra Valley has variable and long growing seasons, encouraging the expressive, varietal flavour and complex structure for which Yering Station is renowned.

A blend of 48% Chardonnay, 52% Pinot Noir. Pale straw in colour. The nose displays grapefruit blossom with a creamy ripe apple overlay. Rich and complex. The palate offers complex yeast autolysis with a creamy centre. The wine displays plum and ripe apple finishing with a fine line of racy acidity and minerality.
