Moderate amounts of wood and menthol characters frame the spicy and earthy dark berry fruit aromas. There is excellent mid-palate concentration to the velvety and exceptionally rich medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth on the powerful, stony and impressively persistent finale. This too is textbook though note that it's going to require at least a decade of bottle edge to shed the very firm tannins.AM91-94
