The Chasse Spleen 2010 has a vibrant bouquet with touches of blackberry, singed leather and cedar that is nicely defined and opens more with aeration. The palate is citrus fresh on the entry with crisp tannins. It is lively, well defined with a spice-tinged, pepper finish that lends persistency. Excellent – although like other vintages I believe this will improve further in bottle. Tasted November 2012. Wine Advocate 92
