The 2012 Blanc de Noirs Les Ursules is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with an expressive bouquet of pear, honeycomb, smoke, tangerine, fresh peach and jasmine. Full-bodied, pillowy and enveloping, it's ample but incisive, with a deep and concentrated core of fruit, pristine balance and a delicate, pearly mousse. Long, penetrating and defined, it exemplifies how Bouchard routinely attains concentration without weight, picking at neither less nor more than full maturity. Wine Advocate 97 (2012)
