A superb blanc de blancs cuvée from Mesnil-sur-Oger, the 2009 Brut Grand Cru Vintage was disgorged with eight grams per liter dosage. The wine is showing well, offering up a youthful but incipiently complex bouquet of lemon rind, dried orange peel, hazelnuts and brioche. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, tight-knit and racy, with a fine, elegant mousse, excellent definition and a long, chalky finish. Wine Advocate 93 (2009)
