As an estate winery, Vina Errazuriz strives to produce the finest wines by controlling every stage of the winemaking process, from grape growing in the Aconcagua, Casablanca and Curico valleys, to winemaking with the most natural techniques. The 2017 Aconcagua Costa Pinot Noir comes from the coastal and cooler part of the Aconcagua Valley, some 12 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean. The grapes fermented with 20% full clusters and native yeasts in stainless steel; some 10% of the wine spent the élevage time in egg-shaped concrete vats, while the rest aged in mostly used French barriques for 11 months. It has moderate alcohol, and it's a restrained and serious style of Pinot Noir, with subtle aromas, clean and tasty flavors, good complexity and a layered structure. 29,364 bottles produced.
