The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Combe Aux Moines opens in the glass with notes of rose petals, berries, cherries and warm spices. Medium to full-bodied, lively and vibrant, with good cut and concentration, it's built around powdery tannins that assert themselves on the gently grippy finish. This should age with grace.
