Aromas of raspberries, spices, smoked duck and espresso roast, framed by a deft application of new wood, introduce the Mugnerets' 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village, a medium to full-bodied, lively and nicely concentrated wine with fine tannins, a ripe core of fruit and a nicely defined, energetic finish. Since La Colombière was bottled separately this year, the 2018 represents a blend of lieux-dits Les Chalendins, Le Pré de la Folie, Les Champs Gourdin and Les Croix Blanches. Wine Advocate 90-92
