The 2015 Pinotage was matured in around 20% new oak. It has a very attractive and quite seductive bouquet with small dark cherries, blueberry and cassis fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, crisp acidity, a little chalkiness in texture towards the second half with plenty of licorice-tinged black fruit. Lovely balance here, a suave Pinotage to enjoy over several years. Wine Advocate 92 (2015)
