Matetic vineyards is located in Rosario Valley, a subdivisión of San Antonio Valley, 120 kilometers from Santiago between Casablanca and San Antonio. The story of the Matetic Winery begins in 1999 when the Matetic family decided to diversify their business ventures and enter the world of wine, confident in the virtues of the climate and soils in the Rosario Valley. With a firm conviction in the vital importance of maintaining a strong professional team to guide every step of the project to ensure that Matetic wines achieve the highest quality.

The 2010 EQ Chardonnay has a tightly coiled but precise nose with touches of honeysuckle and lanolin that opens with each swirl of the glass. The palate is fresh, vibrant and focused with well-integrated oak, building nicely to a taut yellow plum and hazelnut tinged finish that does not outstay its welcome. Drink now-2016. WA91
