Description

Here the wood treatment is a bit more obvious though it stops short of fighting with the pretty combination of pear, white flowers, salt water and hints of mineral reduction. There is excellent richness to the delicious, round and distinctly saline-inflected flavors that possess a generous mouth feel and fine depth before terminating in a vibrant finish where hints of citrus zest and salinity appear. This is really very good and while the oak isn't subtle I suspect that it will integrate with a year or two of bottle age. AM92 (2014)
