Tasted ex-chateau and single blind in Southwold. The Beausejour Duffau Lagarosse 2008 has fine intensity and delineation on the nose with dark brambly fruit and a touch of smoke. Complex and rather enigmatic. The palate is tannic and grippy on the entry, nice purity with a cohesive tannic finish that is harmonious and long in the mouth. It is still a little broody, but I appreciate its personality.Wine Advocate 91
