The 2014 Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin has a perfumed bouquet with yellow flower scents filtering through the citrus fruit and granitic aromas. The palate is lively and tensile, citric at first but then displaying commendable weight and fruit intensity; it has hints of ginger and lemongrass lending spiciness towards the finish that fans out with confidence. I like the chutzpah of this Chablis and it should age well.  Wine Advocate 90
