“This is one of the most brilliantly run wineries in Australia” from Robert Parker Jnr’s Wine Advocate, who has regularly scored Kilikanoon’s wines up to 98 points, and the coveted 5 red stars from James Halliday’s authoritative Australian Wine Companion. These, as well as international awards such as Best Shiraz (worldwide) at the 2008 International Wine Challenge for Kilikanoon’s Oracle Shiraz helped Kilikanoon to spread its wings rather more quickly than may be expected from a young winery. This winery has been awarded 2013 Winery of the Year by James Halliday with 17 wines scoring above 92 points.

Deep garnet-purple colored and scented of crushed blackcurrants, black plums and cloves with touches of dried mint and chocolate, the medium-bodied 2012 Killerman’s Run Cabernet Sauvignon gives a good intensity of ripe black fruit and minty flavors, a medium level of grainy tannins and a lively acid backbone before it finishes medium to long.
