Labeled by Parker as one of the World’s Greatest Wine Estates. This talented winemaker is known for his works at Magpie Estate, Veritas and Binder-Mitchell. This range, named after himself, is fairly new and we are pleased to have Rolf’s wines in our portfolio. Quality aside, which is often guaranteed from Binder, the prices are very affordable for on-premise servings.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2010 Halcyon Cabernet Merlot offers aromas of cassis, Mediterranean herbs and loam with nuances of cloves, cumin, moss covered bark and pencil lead. Medium-bodied, elegantly fruited and with a medium level of fine tannins, it has crisp acidity and a long finish. Drinking nicely now, it should cellar to 2017+. WA88 (2010)
