Tasted from magnum at the CWW Torres tutorial. The bouquet has more complexity than the precocious 1996 with cooked meats, dried herbs, a touch of rosemary and thyme. Wonderful aromatics. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, solid tannins, more backbone here than on the 1996 with a very harmonious, supremely focused finish that caresses rather than lacquers the palate. Very fine.
