Since 1825, the Faiveley family has always cultivated the vineyards with the greatest respect for its terroirs in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. A lone bottle of the 2015 Bourgogne Blanc that I happened upon in my cellar was showing well, exhibiting a sun-kissed bouquet of yellow orchard fruit, blanched almonds, honeycomb and pastry cream. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, bright and nicely focused, with a surprisingly taut core for the vintage and a bright, chalky finish. Wine Advocate 88 (2015)
