The latest releases from Pyramid Valley include two Pinot Noirs from their own vineyards. We were recently pleased to welcome Mike and Claudia Weersing on their first visit to Hong Kong. Their passion and dedication is obvious to all who meet them and we have no hesitation in recommending their wines. “This is an impressive range of artisan wines, especially given that this was the first crop from their own vines. More fruit-driven and strident in tone than the 2019, Pyramid Valley's 2020 North Canterbury Sauvignon + is louder in its bold grapefruit and white currant fruit, but it lacks some of the subtleties of the previous vintage. Bright, citrusy and refreshing, with plenty of length and vibrancy on the finish, drink this medium-bodied wine over the next year or two. Wine Advocate 91
